Information We Collect
We may collect account and contact details, identity information, business verification materials, KYC and KYB information, operation records, technical and device logs, and support communications.
Identity Verification Data
When you complete identity verification (KYC), we and our verification provider collect government-issued ID document images, a facial image and liveness (selfie video) data, and the personal details shown on your document. This biometric and identity data is used solely to verify your identity and to meet legal and anti-money-laundering obligations. It is never used for advertising or any unrelated purpose.
Third-Party Processors
Identity verification is performed by our provider Sumsub (Sum and Substance Ltd.), which processes your ID and biometric data on our behalf under its own privacy terms. We share only the information needed to complete verification and related compliance checks.
Device Permissions
With your consent, the app may access your camera and microphone to capture your ID document and record liveness video, and your photo library to select document images. These permissions are used only for identity verification, and you can manage them at any time in your device settings.
How We Use Information
Information may be used to provide our services, verify identity, conduct due diligence, review risk, comply with applicable laws, prevent misuse, and improve service reliability.
Data Retention
We retain personal and verification data only for as long as necessary to provide the service and to meet legal, regulatory, and anti-money-laundering record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
Your Rights and Account Deletion
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and associated personal data through in-app account settings or by emailing service@cheesepie.org. Some information may be retained where required by applicable law.
